Tzatziki is a traditional Greek sauce, which is the key ingredient to Gyros. It goes well with meat and vegetables. The Turkish enjoy tzatziki with kebab or as a spread on bread. Tzatziki is a light and refreshing sauce that will make any food piquant. We highly recommend dipping tortilla or nachos into tzatziki sauce but be warned: stopping before the sauce runs out is mission impossible!
Instructions for preparing tzatziki sauce: use a coarse grating side of the grater to grate two or three cucumbers and drain them well so that no liquid remains. Mix them with 300 g of Greek yoghurt. Add several teaspoons of our Tzatziki seasoning mix to your personal taste and drizzle a bit of olive oil. Mix everything well and voilà – your very own tzatziki sauce is ready!
Instructions for preparing a simple garlic sauce: mix 5 g of the Tzatziki seasoning mix with 250 g of cottage cheese and let it rest for a while. This sauce goes really well with potato dishes.
